Vertikal.net talk about 30 years at Warren Access
UK regional powered access rental company Warren Access is celebrating 30 years in business. It has also purchased two new 20 metre Ruthmann Ecoline RS 200’s truck mounted lifts, plus two Klubb van mounted platforms from CPL – the 12 metre KL26 telescopic on a cutaway van, with no outriggers, and a 14 metre K38P.
Warren Access was established in May 1993 after Derek Warren was laid off after 28 years with rental company Marshall Branson, where he was general manager of its Plant and Access division.
At 53, he used his redundancy money to purchase two used Acklift van mounted platforms and, using contacts made over almost three decades in the business, got off to a good start. Over the next two years, he expanded the fleet to 12 vehicle mounts, and in 2005 his son Graeme and daughter-in-law Michelle joined the business.
