What a year... Goodbye 2020, hello 2021!
That’s us getting ready to close the office for Christmas and what a year it has been. 2020 has had its challenges that’s for sure. We, like every business, have had to adapt and find new ways of working that allow us to keep hiring out our platforms and running our IPAF and PASMA training programs without sacrificing the safety of our staff, clients and customers. It’s been tough and a huge learning curve: we’ve made changes to our procedures, introduced social distancing measures throughout both depots and increased our cleaning regimes, as well as installing sanitising stations and QR codes for track and trace.
It’s definitely not what we planned, but we are so pleased with the progress we have made. Our fleets have expanded with new Versalift van mounted platforms, Niftylift HR12s and Haulotte Star 10s, and we’ve welcomed Lisa Runkee and Paul Marshall to the team.
IPAF and PASMA e-Learning has taken off and is providing our candidates with the opportunity to complete theory sessions online from the comfort of their own home. We couldn’t have done it on our own though, we have had the help of some wonderful local businesses and contractors, and we are extremely grateful to them all. It’s certainly been inspiring watching how the industry and local communities have come together to support each other, hasn’t it?
Christmas opening hours
Our opening hours over the next couple of weeks are as follows:
Wednesday 23rd December – Open (Closing at 4pm)
Thursday 24th December – Sunday 3rd January – CLOSED
Monday 4th January – Open at 8am
