Warren Access attended this year’s ABE Northern Region exhibition on 5th June 09 at the Lancastrian Suite in Gateshead.
This is the 21st Northern exhibition and the support for this event has grown year on year, which reflects the high interest and commitment shown by colleagues who are one way or another involved in the countries major industry “Building and Building Maintenance”.
Left to right: Michelle Warren, ABE President Beryl Menzies, Mayor of Gateshead Councillor John Eagle and Graeme Warren.
The purpose of this exhibition was to provide suppliers to public authorities, housing associations and architects with an opportunity to meet specified and potential customers and to enable all concerned to see new products and developments.
Since the purchase of their Multitel MX270 in December 2008, Warren Access has found this machine to be an extremely popular addition to their fleet and the demand for it has been very high. This machine remains the only one of its kind within the North East to date and boasts a maximum working height of 27.3m and maximum outreach of 13.3m, mounted on a 7.5 tonne chassis. Below are some testimonials from some of their customers:
‘Thanks to Warren Access no one else can compete in the North East with the fantastic service received off Derek and his family. The addition of their new 27m truck mount with 13m outreach has released so many more opportunities and we always find it safe and secure with the confident operators Derek has.’
‘As a CCTV installer we have been using platforms/cherry pickers for over 12 years now, we recently have hired the new Multitel 27M and the one thing that impressed me the most was the outreach of the Multitel, for a 7.5t truck it is in a league of its own’
‘The 27m machine is an absolutely fantastic piece of kit, great for larger takedowns. It has a great outreach, definitely makes a hard job easier. We will hire this again and recommend it to anyone needing lift and reach but make sure you’ve got a head for heights!!!!’
‘We find the 27m platform is indispensable whilst carrying out forestry operations on large trees in our area due to its accuracy of operation and agility. It also provides a faster, safer way of carrying out our work’
Warren Access exhibited their MX270 at this exhibition and had the great pleasure of demonstrating this machine to the Mayor of Gateshead Councillor John Eagle who opened this year’s exhibition and spent much of the day there meeting all of the exhibitors. Warren Access is presently looking at other Multitel models to add to their fleet in the near future.
