Warren Access – Cranes & Access Dec 08/Jan 09
The December/January 09 edition of Cranes & Access featured Truck Mounted Platforms. These platforms are undergoing a renaissance and even in the current climate, there is still good business being done particularly in the medium and larger sized platforms.
Editor of Cranes & Access Mark Darwin, investigated this further in the North East and attended the Warren Access launch day of their brand new MX270 Multitel Lorry Mounted Hydraulic Platform.
Based in Brunswick Village near Newcastle upon Tyne, Warren Access specialises in truck and van mounted access equipment.
The new Multitel MX270 is the third truck mount in the fleet which also includes 18 van mounted cherry pickers. Warren’s 13.5 metre and 17 metre trucks are fitted to 6.5 and 7.5 tonne chassis and are continually out on hire with local councils, CCTV installation and maintenance, street lighting and security.
The MX270 gives Warren Access an additional 10 metres height and about four metres more outreach than their 17 metre lift. To view the full write-up and to see pictures of the machine in action, click on the link below and scroll down to the bottom of page 26:
