Training
Most legislation that covers Health and Safety obligations and Working at Height regulations requires employers to supply their employees with proper and adequate training in the use of work equipment.
As a recognised member of IPAF, at Warren Access we firmly believe that fundamental training is a key requirement for anyone wishing to operate platforms.
So, what are the benefits?
Whether your profession is a tree surgeon, electrician, window cleaner or roofer, this training is relevant to you...
- Platforms offer an alternative safe and easy way to working at height.
- The training will equip you with the best safety knowledge, and competency to operate your platform.
- You will acquire an additional skill which is valid for a period of 5 years when it can then be renewed.
Whatever your requirements, we can assist with arranging the correct courses for you and your employees, through our independent registered IPAF instructor. There are varying options available depending on your requirements. Courses generally last one day and are a mixture of theory and practical, which includes a written and a practical test.
In return, successful candidates will receive a PAL Card (Powered Access Licence), a safety guide, a log book and a certificate. The PAL Card is recognised worldwide across industries as proof of platform operator training to the highest standard, and shows the categories that the card holder is qualified to operate.
