PASMA Low-Level Access
This is a ½ day PASMA Low Level Access Training course aimed at personnel who work from prefabricated units of less than 2.5 metres of height. The course involves both a theory and practical session and includes how to assemble, dismantle and relocate mobile access units without risk of personal injury to the delegate or others. Delegates attending this course receive a course content booklet and PASMA Code of Practice together with a PASMA certificate and photocard for the relevant level that is valid for 5 years. ½ Day course, lasting a minimum of 3½ hours
Personnel who work from prefabricated units under 2.5m of height
How to safely assemble, dismantle and relocate low level access units without risk of personal injury to the delegate or others
Instruction both in theory and practical sessions
Closed book course with a pass mark of 80% in both theory and practical
Suitable head / foot protection and gloves during the practical session
Current Legislation, Regulations and Guidance affecting work at height with low level access units, PASMA Code of Practice, Publicly Available Specification, assembling, altering and dismantling low level access units incorporating current best practice for fall protection, inspection of completed low level access units and completion of Tower Inspection Records; hazards affecting the use of low level access units

A suitable classroom to accommodate 12 delegates for the theory session and an indoor area suitable for a practical session
A course content and notes booklet and a current Code of Practice booklet will be issued to all delegates who attend the course
A PASMA Certificate and PhotoCard will be issued to successful delegates who complete the Theory and Assessment sessions at the level they attend the course which has a five year validity period
No formal qualifications or experience are necessary, but it would be beneficial if delegates had a basic understanding of work at height issues
